Plain-language summary: We collect only what we need to run the platform — your name, email, artist profile, and usage data. We don't sell your data. Third-party services (Airtable, Stripe, Resend, Anthropic) process data on our behalf under their own policies. Payment Information

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card number, CVV, or bank account details — Stripe handles all payment data under their own PCI-compliant infrastructure. We receive only a Stripe customer ID and subscription status.

Technical Data

We may collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) for security monitoring and debugging. We do not use this data for advertising.

3. How We Use Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Storage & Retention

Your profile and application data is stored in Airtable, a cloud database service. Data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data from our primary database within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal or financial compliance (e.g., billing records).

Work gallery images stored on Cloudinary are deleted upon account deletion on request.

5. Third-Party Services

The following services process data on our behalf. Each operates under its own privacy policy:

Note on Anthropic: Anthropic may use API interactions for safety research under their standard API terms. We do not send your full artist profile to the AI unless you actively invoke Lone Liaison. We recommend reviewing Anthropic's privacy policy if you have concerns about AI data handling.

The Opportunity Desk does not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. We use browser localStorage and sessionStorage for:

7. AI Processing

Lone Liaison, our AI writing assistant, is powered by the Anthropic Claude API. When you use Lone Liaison:

AI-generated content is a starting point, not a finished product. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and submitting any materials derived from AI assistance. See our Terms of Service for more on AI content responsibility.

9. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data: HTTPS for all connections, hashed passwords (bcrypt), short-lived signed JWT tokens, and access-controlled API keys. Staff access to Airtable is restricted to authorized team members.

No system is perfectly secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected users within 72 hours of discovery and take immediate remediation steps.

10. Children's Privacy

The Opportunity Desk is intended for practicing artists and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at hello@solomonandclark.com and we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the platform evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify active users by email. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
