Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card number, CVV, or bank account details — Stripe handles all payment data under their own PCI-compliant infrastructure. We receive only a Stripe customer ID and subscription status.
We may collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) for security monitoring and debugging. We do not use this data for advertising.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.
Your profile and application data is stored in Airtable, a cloud database service. Data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data from our primary database within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal or financial compliance (e.g., billing records).

Lone Liaison, our AI writing assistant, is powered by the Anthropic Claude API. When you use Lone Liaison:
AI-generated content is a starting point, not a finished product. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and submitting any materials derived from AI assistance. See our Terms of Service for more on AI content responsibility.
Liaison helps you draft applications — it is not a secure vault. Never enter your Social Security Number, bank or card numbers, passwords, or government ID numbers into a Liaison session. If an application requires that information, enter it directly on the funder's own website. Liaison is designed to refuse and remove this kind of information, but the best protection is not typing it in the first place.
Applying on behalf of an organization? The same rules apply, plus: never enter your organization's banking details, portal passwords (Submittable, Grants.gov, SAM.gov), personal ID numbers of officers or board members, or names and records of the people your organization serves. For participant stories, use first names or pseudonyms.
When you use Liaison to draft applications, the text you provide — including any personal background, financial context, or demographic details you choose to share — is processed to generate your draft and stored with your account so you can return to your work. Drafting content is never shared with other users, never used to generate drafts for anyone else, and never sold. You can request deletion of your drafting content at any time (see Your Rights). We ask that you never enter Social Security Numbers, financial account numbers, passwords, or government ID numbers; if submitted, this information is automatically filtered out of drafts and should be entered directly on the funder's own application.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data: HTTPS for all connections, hashed passwords (bcrypt), short-lived signed JWT tokens, and access-controlled API keys. Staff access to Airtable is restricted to authorized team members.
No system is perfectly secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected users within 72 hours of discovery and take immediate remediation steps.
The Opportunity Desk is intended for practicing artists and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at hello@solomonandclark.com and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the platform evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify active users by email. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
